This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different oligosaccharides on the growth performance and intestinal function in broilers.
A total of 360 1-day-old yellow-feather chickens were randomly divided into 5 groups and fed with a basal diet supplemented with 50 mg/kg chlortetracycline (ANT), 3 g/kg isomalto-oligosaccharide (IMO), 3 g/kg raffinose oligosaccharide (RFO), and 30 mg/kg chitooligosaccharide (COS). The experiment lasted for 56 days, with 1-28 days as the starter phase and 29-56 days as the grower phase.
The results showed that dietary supplementation with RFO and COS significantly improved average daily gain (ADG) and average daily feed intake (ADFI) ( < 0.05). Relative to the control group, diets supplemented with oligosaccharides dramatically increased the level of serum IgM (RFO, COS), T-SOD (COS), and GSH-Px (IMO and RFO) and the expression of ZO-1(IMO) and claudin-1 (RFO) ( < 0.05). Adding antibiotics or oligosaccharides to the diet could remarkedly increase the villus height and villus height (VH)/crypt depth (CD) ratio of each group ( < 0.05). Through the ileum α-diversity analysis and comparison of OTU number in each group showed that the microbial richness of the IMO group increased in the starter phase, and that of the RFO and CSO group increased in the grower phase. Additionally, compared with the control group, IMO supplementation increased the level of ileum sIgA ( < 0.05) and the content of valeric acid ( < 0.05) in the cecum.
In summary, the addition of oligosaccharides in diet can improve the immune function and antioxidant capacity and improve intestinal health of broilers.
本研究旨在探讨不同低聚糖对肉鸡生长性能和肠道功能的影响。
将360只1日龄黄羽鸡随机分为5组,分别饲喂添加50mg/kg金霉素(ANT)、3g/kg异麦芽低聚糖(IMO)、3g/kg棉籽糖低聚糖(RFO)和30mg/kg壳寡糖(COS)的基础日粮。试验持续56天,其中1 - 28天为育雏期,29 - 56天为生长期。
结果表明,日粮中添加RFO和COS显著提高了平均日增重(ADG)和平均日采食量(ADFI)(P<0.05)。与对照组相比,添加低聚糖的日粮显著提高了血清IgM(RFO、COS)、总超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD,COS)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px,IMO和RFO)水平以及紧密连接蛋白1(ZO-1,IMO)和闭合蛋白1(claudin-1,RFO)的表达(P<0.05)。日粮中添加抗生素或低聚糖均可显著增加各组的绒毛高度和绒毛高度(VH)/隐窝深度(CD)比值(P<0.05)。通过回肠α多样性分析和各组OTU数量比较表明,IMO组在育雏期微生物丰富度增加,RFO和CSO组在生长期微生物丰富度增加。此外,与对照组相比,添加IMO提高了回肠分泌型免疫球蛋白A(sIgA)水平(P<0.05)和盲肠中戊酸含量(P<0.05)。
