Abstract
Here, we report the whole-genome sequence of sp. strain IITDAS19, a potent biosurfactant-producing bacterium that was isolated from oil-contaminated soil. The sequence provided information on the genes and enzymes responsible for the biosynthesis of the biosurfactant.
