spp. are filamentous cyanobacteria widely distributed in temperate lakes. Though infrequent, they can form harmful algal blooms. Here, we present a high-quality metagenome-assembled genome of a sp. from a toxic, crimson cyanobacterial bloom in Lake Salubria, NY.
