Sclerosing stromal tumor of the ovary is a rare benign tumor of the ovary belonging to the group of stromal and sex cord tumors, it mainly affects young women under the age of 30.
In this article, we present the case of a 19 year old female patient with a sclerosing tumor of the ovary and through a review of the literature we will study the anatomical-clinical and etiopathogenic aspects of this rare entity.
Sclerosing stromal tumors represent % of sex stromal cord tumors and tend to occur in young women with an average age of 30 years CONCLUSION: Sclerosing stromal tumor is an extremely rare tumor of the sex cord and stroma, occurring primarily in the second and third decades of life.
