This study aims to increase understanding of the process of nursing students at risk of completing suicide attempts that facilitates the transition from suicidal ideation to action. And The Central Bureau of Statistics, there were 812 suicide cases throughout Indonesia.
The qualitative research involved 15 nursing students who were selected purposively. data collection in rural East Java Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the Colaizzi phenomenological method.
We identified six main themes; 1 (the dimension of individual history). 2 (socio-cultural dimension) describes the problems experienced by nursing students on campus and off campus. 3 (interpersonal dimension). 4 (intrapersonal dimension); Factors of family conflict, peer conflict, and psychiatric and/or medical disorders. 5 (emotional dimension). 6. (be a good listener).
The intrapersonal element is the most influential catalyst in the progression from suicidal ideation to action. As prospective targets for preventive interventions and practices with nursing students at risk of suicide, our findings suggest the need for specific measures addressing freshman recruitment during selection for faculty, emotional dysregulation, and feelings of invalidity and entrapment. Nursing students need intrapersonal training. Being a good listener for all students, lecturers and staff is important to create a support system for suicide prevention in the nursing environment.
本研究旨在加深对有自杀未遂风险的护理专业学生从自杀意念到付诸行动这一过程的理解。据印度尼西亚中央统计局数据,印度尼西亚全国共有812例自杀案例。
本定性研究通过目的抽样选取了15名护理专业学生。在东爪哇农村地区收集数据,通过半结构化访谈进行数据收集,并采用科莱齐现象学方法进行分析。
我们确定了六个主要主题;1(个人历史维度)。2(社会文化维度)描述了护理专业学生在校园内外遇到的问题。3(人际维度)。4(个人内心维度);家庭冲突、同伴冲突以及精神和/或医学疾病等因素。5(情感维度)。6(成为一个好的倾听者)。
个人内心因素是从自杀意念发展到自杀行动过程中最具影响力的催化剂。作为对有自杀风险的护理专业学生进行预防性干预和实践的潜在目标,我们的研究结果表明,需要采取具体措施来解决在师资选拔过程中的新生招募问题、情绪调节障碍以及无效感和被困感。护理专业学生需要进行个人内心训练。对所有学生、讲师和工作人员而言,成为一个好的倾听者对于在护理环境中建立预防自杀的支持系统至关重要。
