The role of the hospice for the dying child.

Health authorities and individuals involved in the care of children with life-threatening disease are expressing concern about the suggested proliferation of children's hospices. I believe they are right in their concern. A very small number of families need the facility of a hospice building. A very great number of families can benefit from the philosophy of hospice care.
