Abstract

The presence of was established in 201 isolates from 9 Peruvian hospitals. The 76.6% (154/201) of the isolates presented the gene. Overall, 123/201 (61.2%) isolates were non-susceptible to ciprofloxacin. The prevalence of -possessing in Peru is higher than in other geographical areas.
