The present study provides the first information on the chemical composition and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity of the essential oil (EO) from the leaves of Weeras. & R.M.K.Saunders from Vietnam. Gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis revealed that the main components of the EO were β-caryophyllene (13.2%), α-humulene (10.5%), germacrene D (8.1%), β-elemene (5.2%) and bicyclogermacrene (5.1%). The anti-acetylcholinesterase assay showed that the EO displayed moderate activity with IC value of 31.16 ± 3.06 μg/mL. These findings proposed that the plant can be exploited for its anti-acetylcholinestrate potential.
本研究首次提供了来自越南 Weeras. & R.M.K.Saunders 的叶片精油(EO)的化学成分和乙酰胆碱酯酶抑制活性的信息。气相色谱和气相色谱-质谱分析表明,该精油的主要成分是β-石竹烯(13.2%)、α-葎草烯(10.5%)、大根香叶烯 D(8.1%)、β-榄香烯(5.2%)和双环倍半萜烯(5.1%)。乙酰胆碱酯酶抑制试验表明,该精油具有中等活性,IC 值为 31.16 ± 3.06 μg/mL。这些发现表明,该植物可用于其抗乙酰胆碱酯酶的潜力。
