Abstract

Bone marrow induced in mice by xenogeneic epithelia of human amnion established cell line and of dog transitional epithelium seems to contain hemopoietic stem cells in the same concentration as orthotopic bone marrow. The induced bone marrow is able to protect lethally irradiated syngeneic recipients when used in the same doses as orthotopic one.
