Chemical constituents from the and their antiproliferative activity.

Nine compounds were isolated and identified from ethanolic extracts of , including one new alkaloid (), one new pentacyclic triterpenoid (), and seven known alkaloids (-). Structural elucidation of compounds and was established by 1D and 2D NMR spectra referring to the literature, together with high-resolution mass spectrometric analysis. All compounds were evaluated for antiproliferative activity against two cancer cell lines (LN229, A549) . Compounds (-) showed no significant antiproliferative activity.
