Abstract

We announce the whole genome hybrid sequences of 11 highly virulent strains of the ancient phylogenetic branch 0.ANT5, one of the closest to the strains of the First Plague Pandemic. Nine strains were isolated in 2013-2023 and two in 1953 and 1971 in the Tien Shan plague focus in Kyrgyzstan.
