Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female (the narrow-cheeked clusterfly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Polleniidae). The genome sequence is 1370.5 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 21.01 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,930 protein coding genes.
