Kyasanur forest disease (KFD) is an endemic flaviviral hemorrhagic fever in south India. We report seven cases of oral candidiasis in patients from Karnataka, India, who presented in March and April 2024 with the first phase of KFD. Except for lymphopenia, no other risk factors for oral candidiasis were identified in these patients. All patients were managed with antifungals and did well at the 28-day follow-up. We report this case series to highlight the possibility of transient immunosuppression and the occurrence of opportunistic infections in flaviviral infections such as KFD.
