To compare the clinical effects of oblique lumbar interbody fusion (OLIF) and lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF) in the treatment of degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine.
This was a retrospective study. The clinical data of 80 patients with lumbar disc degenerative disease who underwent surgery in Affiliated Hospital of Beihua University from May 2018 to May 2023 were selected. The patients were divided into LLIF group and OLIF group according to surgical methods. Compare the 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey(SF-36), Visual Analog Scale(VAS) scores, Oswesterly Disability Index(ODI), Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA) scores, Cobb angle, and intervertebral height changes between two groups of patients pre- and posttreatment, and evaluate the differences in clinical efficacy and surgical complications.
Postsurgery, the SF-36 score, VAS score, ODI index, and JOA score of two groups were significantly better than presurgery(p<0.05); After three months of treatment, the improvement in OLIF group was better than LLIF group(p<0.05), while there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups at six months postsurgery(p>0.05). Six months postsurgery, the intervertebral space height and Cobb angle of the two groups were significantly improved compared to presurgery (p<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the groups(p>0.05). There was no difference in clinical efficacy and incidence between the two groups(p>0.05).
LLIF and OLIF may be both safe and effective minimally invasive surgical methods for the treatment of degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine.
比较斜外侧腰椎椎间融合术（OLIF）与外侧腰椎椎间融合术（LLIF）治疗腰椎间盘退变疾病的临床效果。
本研究为回顾性研究。选取2018年5月至2023年5月在北华大学附属医院接受手术治疗的80例腰椎间盘退变疾病患者的临床资料。根据手术方式将患者分为LLIF组和OLIF组。比较两组患者治疗前后的36项简明健康调查问卷（SF-36）、视觉模拟评分（VAS）、Oswesterly功能障碍指数（ODI）、日本骨科学会（JOA）评分、Cobb角及椎间隙高度变化，并评估临床疗效及手术并发症的差异。
术后，两组患者的SF-36评分、VAS评分、ODI指数及JOA评分均显著优于术前（p<0.05）；治疗3个月后，OLIF组的改善情况优于LLIF组（p<0.05），而术后6个月两组间差异无统计学意义（p>0.05）。术后6个月，两组患者的椎间隙高度和Cobb角均较术前显著改善（p<0.05），但组间差异无统计学意义（p>0.05）。两组间临床疗效及发生率差异无统计学意义（p>0.05）。
LLIF和OLIF可能都是治疗腰椎间盘退变疾病安全有效的微创手术方法。
