Abstract

A new leafhopper species Phlogothamnus renhuaiensis sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Guizhou Province, China. An updated identification key for the adult male Phlogothamnus species is provided, and a global distribution map showing the geographic distribution of all species is also provided. A cumulative checklist of 10 Phlogothamnus species including the basionym, localities of type materials, type depositories, and updated distribution data is also presented. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).

本文描述并图示了采自中国贵州省的叶蝉新物种——仁怀焰叶蝉Phlogothamnus renhuaiensis sp. nov.。提供了焰叶蝉属成年雄性种类的最新检索表，还给出了显示所有种类地理分布的全球分布图。同时列出了包含基原异名、模式标本产地、模式标本保存地及最新分布数据的10种焰叶蝉的累积名录。新物种的模式标本保存于中国贵阳贵州大学昆虫研究所（GUGC）。
