Abstract
A new genus of the tribe Scaphoideini from China, Paramelanetettix gen. nov. with P. expansivus sp. nov. as type species is described and illustrated. The type specimen of the new species is deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).

记述并图示了中国凹颜螽族一新属——拟黑螽属Paramelanetettix gen. nov.，模式种为阔拟黑螽Paramelanetettix expansivus sp. nov.。新种的模式标本保存于中国贵阳贵州大学昆虫研究所（GUGC）。
