We present a genome assembly from an individual male ichneumonid wasp, (Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Ichneumonidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 270.30 megabases. Most of the assembly (92.24%) is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 27.79 kilobases in length.
