Abstract

We report the draft genome sequences of 94 multidrug-resistant isolates (. Infantis, Enteritidis, and Typhimurium) from organic and conventional retail chickens in Maryland, USA (average genome size = 4.97 Mb; guanine-cytosine content = 52.12%). These isolates harbored diverse antimicrobial resistance and virulence genes, pathogenicity islands, and plasmids, highlighting potential public health risks.
