Abstract
PURPOSE
We report a case of an atypical multifocal choroiditis with retinal vasculitis associated with positive West Nile serology.
METHODS
Retrospective case report.
RESULTS
A healthy 18-year-old man presented with floaters in the left eye that started while backpacking in Wyoming. Examination and testing revealed numerous chorioretinal lesions in the left eye, as well as retinal vasculitis and evidence of branch retinal vein occlusion. Serology was positive for West Nile Virus.
CONCLUSION
West Nile virus may be a trigger for development of multifocal choroiditis in susceptible individuals.

目的
我们报告一例非典型多灶性脉络膜炎合并视网膜血管炎且西尼罗河血清学呈阳性的病例。
方法
回顾性病例报告。
结果
一名18岁健康男性，在怀俄明州背包旅行时左眼开始出现飞蚊症。检查和检测发现左眼有大量脉络膜视网膜病变，以及视网膜血管炎和视网膜分支静脉阻塞的迹象。西尼罗河病毒血清学检测呈阳性。
结论
西尼罗河病毒可能是易感个体发生多灶性脉络膜炎的诱因。
