Abstract

We report the complete genome sequence of strain R, isolated from Antarctic soil. The genome consists of a 6,361,549-bp chromosome and two plasmids (99,385 bp and 312,136 bp). The genome encodes 5,915 protein-coding sequences, 56 tRNAs, and five copies each of the 5S, 16S, and 23S rRNA genes.
