A Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, rod-shaped, and non-motile bacterium, designated strain R7, was isolated from pig faeces. Strain R7 grew at 15-37 °C (optimum 30 °C), pH 6-8 (optimum pH 7), and salinity of 0-5.0% (w/v; optimum 1.0%). Strain R7 was resistant to cefradine, ampicillin, gentamicin, and spectinomycin. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that strain R7 belonged to genus Oryzobacter, and showed 98.9% similarity with Oryzobacter terrae PSGM2-16. The average nucleotide identity and digital DNA-DNA hybridization values between strain R7 and O. terrae PSGM2-16 were 84.5% and 27.6%, respectively. The predominant fatty acids of strain R7 were iso-C, Cω8c, iso-C, C, and iso-C. The predominant ubiquinone was MK-8(H). The major polar lipids of strain R7 were phosphatidylethanolamine, diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylinositol, aminophosphoglycolipid, one unidentified phospholipid, and two unidentified polar lipids. The diagnostic diamino acid of the cell-wall peptidoglycan was meso-diaminopimelic acid. Based on the phenotypic, genotypic and phylogenetic evidence, strain R7 represents a novel species in the genus Oryzobacter, for which the name Oryzobacter faecalis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is R7 (=GDMCC 1.4961 = KCTC 59403 = KACC 23902).
从猪粪便中分离出一株革兰氏阳性、需氧、杆状且无运动性的细菌,命名为菌株R7。菌株R7在15 - 37°C(最适温度30°C)、pH 6 - 8(最适pH 7)和盐度0 - 5.0%(w/v;最适1.0%)的条件下生长。菌株R7对头孢拉定、氨苄青霉素、庆大霉素和壮观霉素具有抗性。基于16S rRNA基因序列的系统发育分析表明,菌株R7属于稻田杆菌属,与稻田杆菌PSGM2 - 16的相似性为98.9%。菌株R7与稻田杆菌PSGM2 - 16之间的平均核苷酸同一性和数字DNA - DNA杂交值分别为84.5%和27.6%。菌株R7的主要脂肪酸为异-C、Cω8c、异-C、C和异-C。主要泛醌为MK - 8(H)。菌株R7的主要极性脂为磷脂酰乙醇胺、双磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰肌醇、氨基磷酸糖脂、一种未鉴定的磷脂和两种未鉴定的极性脂。细胞壁肽聚糖的诊断性二氨基酸为内消旋二氨基庚二酸。基于表型、基因型和系统发育证据,菌株R7代表稻田杆菌属中的一个新物种,为此提出新名称粪稻田杆菌(Oryzobacter faecalis sp. nov.)。模式菌株为R7(=GDMCC 1.4961 = KCTC 59403 = KACC 23902)。
