Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of (Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Lasiocampidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 572.73 megabases and 530.23 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.92%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.7 kilobases.
