Abstract

We report the complete mitochondrial genome of from specimens collected in Geoje City, South Korea. Using next-generation sequencing, we determined the mitochondrial genome is a circular DNA molecule of 16,525 bp, comprising 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, and two rRNA genes. Maximum likelihood phylogenetic analysis using 12 mitochondrial genomes showed this species clustered with other Gobiiformes, providing first insights into phylogenetic relationships within this order.

我们报告了从韩国巨济市采集的样本的完整线粒体基因组。利用下一代测序技术,我们确定该线粒体基因组是一个16525碱基对的环状DNA分子,由13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因和两个rRNA基因组成。使用12个线粒体基因组进行的最大似然系统发育分析表明,该物种与其他鲈形目鱼类聚集在一起,为该目内的系统发育关系提供了初步见解。
