Abstract

An autoantibody, reacting with a cytoplasmic component of many types of glass-adherent cells in tissue culture has been detected in the serum of patients with infectious mononucleosis. Evidence is presented that the structures with which this antibody reacts are closely related to cytoplasmic microtubules.
