Physical examination of scuba divers.

With the increasing popularity of courses in scuba diving, prospective diving students coming to physicians for medical examinations are presenting a wide range of ages and physical makeup. A working knowledge of medical fitness for diving and of diving medical emergencies will assist the nondiving physician in establishing a basic medical history and examination for the student scuba diver.
