Abstract

Because of the considerable differences in the reported values for serum folate in normal subjects using Lactobacillus casei as assay organism the effect of daylight when preparing media for this assay was studied. It was found that the growth properties of the medium were destroyed by direct sunlight and impaired by bright reflected sunlight, therefore reducing the sensitivity of the assay. Adequate precautions regarding exposure to light must be taken.

由于使用干酪乳杆菌作为检测菌时,正常受试者血清叶酸报告值存在相当大的差异,因此研究了在制备该检测用培养基时日光的影响。结果发现,培养基的生长特性会被直射阳光破坏,被明亮的反射阳光削弱,从而降低检测的灵敏度。必须采取充分的避光预防措施。
