The effect of the treatment with benzopyrones has been examined in dogs with experimental ascites (provoked by constriction of the vena cava inf.). Five weeks after cava-constriction nine of the twelve treated and only two of the untreated animals were free of ascites.
已在患有实验性腹水（由下腔静脉缩窄诱发）的犬类中研究了苯并吡喃酮治疗的效果。腔静脉缩窄五周后，接受治疗的12只动物中有9只腹水消失，而未接受治疗的动物中只有2只腹水消失。
