In a study of the value of monitoring apparatus the temperature, pulse rate, and blood pressure were recorded automatically on 107 patients. Though the patients found the equipment tolerable, it is considered that the advantages to the patient were found to be too few to justify the purchase of this equipment for use on a general medical ward.
