Abstract
Total pancreatectomy for periampullary carcinoma should be reserved for resectable primary carcinoma in the pancreas. The postoperative complications are reduced, and the resultant diabetes is not difficult to manage. There were no postoperative deaths in series of 12 cases of total and partial pancreatectomy. This study proposes a more aggressive approach to malignant lesions in this area.

壶腹周围癌的全胰切除术应仅用于胰腺可切除的原发性癌。术后并发症会减少，且由此引发的糖尿病也不难控制。在12例全胰切除术和部分胰切除术病例系列中无术后死亡情况。本研究提出了一种针对该区域恶性病变更积极的治疗方法。
