The release of lymphokine, a "lymph node activating factor" is not accompanied by changes in the functions of lymphocytes bound on cell membrane, such as the capacity for E rosette formation, PHA responsiveness and induction of the transplantation reaction. Neither is it accompanied by nucleolar transformation which would suggest the changes in nucleolar RNA synthesis and protein synthesis. However, in mixed lymphocyte cultures from which the lymph node activating factor is released, the number of naked lymphocytes increases markedly.
淋巴因子(一种“淋巴结激活因子”)的释放,并未伴随细胞膜上结合的淋巴细胞功能的改变,如E玫瑰花结形成能力、对PHA的反应性以及移植反应的诱导。它也未伴随核仁转化,而核仁转化表明核仁RNA合成和蛋白质合成发生了变化。然而,在释放淋巴结激活因子的混合淋巴细胞培养物中,裸淋巴细胞的数量显著增加。
