Radiographic investigation of palatal incompetence.

The purpose of this article is to describe the radiographic technique by which the author's department investigates the children and adults referred with palatal incompetence. It is not intended to compare it with any other type of investigation. The technique described has been used at Frenchay Hospital for the past 10 years and has yielded very reliable results. The information obtained has led to better planning of treatment for each individual patient.
