[The measurement of aerosol density of ultrasonic inhalation generators (author's transl)].

Measurements of the behaviour of ultrasonic USI-Nebulizers during operation were carried out using a simple photometric arrangement. It shows, that the electrically controlled feed system of USI 3 and USI 50 is superior to the far simpler chicken feed system of USI 3 and USI 50 is superior to the far simpler chicken feed system. For the inhalation of small amounts of medicament not using the feed system the measuring procedure for the remaining amount of medicament should be reconsidered.
