Abstract
In this article, morphologic changes affecting the myocardium, chambers, valves, epicardial coronary arteries, and aorta in the elderly but otherwise normal heart are discussed and are compared with and differentiated from morphologic changes causing clinical cardiac dysfunction, death, or both.
