The immunological indices were studied in 24 patients with diabetes mellitus: 11 with insulin-dependent type (IDD) and 13 with insulin-independent type (IID). In the IDD patients sensitization to commercial insulin and bacterial allergens was more common in vitro than that in the IID patients. The per cent content of T-lymphocytes and an absolute number of phagocytic cells decreased in the peripheral blood of the IDD and IID patients. Both forms of diabetes mellitus were accompanied by disglobulinemia with an elevated serum immunoglobulin A level and a decreased immunoglobulin G content.
对24例糖尿病患者的免疫指标进行了研究：其中11例为胰岛素依赖型（IDD），13例为非胰岛素依赖型（IID）。与IID患者相比，体外实验显示IDD患者对商用胰岛素和细菌过敏原的致敏更为常见。IDD和IID患者外周血中T淋巴细胞的百分比含量和吞噬细胞的绝对数量均下降。两种类型的糖尿病均伴有球蛋白血症，血清免疫球蛋白A水平升高，免疫球蛋白G含量降低。
