The authors describe new serological and biochemical types of escherichia belonging to serological group 06, isolated in group and sporadic cases of sickness, from the affected children. Circulation of seven serological types was revealed--partial composition of the O-antigen proved to be serologicaly nonhomogeneous. Escherichia of a single sero-anzymatic type (06a6b: K13: H1) were isolated in a group affection.
