Abstract
Effect of selenium on toxic side effects of cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (Cisplatin; CDDP) which is a potent anticancer drug containing platinum was examined. Remarkable protective effects of selenium against lethal and renal toxicity of CDDP were observed when selenite was administered to mice once a day after single injection of lethal dose of CDDP. On the other hand antitumor activity of CDDP was hardly depressed by selenite.

研究了硒对顺二氨二氯铂（顺铂；CDDP）毒性副作用的影响，顺铂是一种含铂的强效抗癌药物。在给小鼠单次注射致死剂量的CDDP后，每天一次给予亚硒酸盐，观察到硒对CDDP的致死毒性和肾毒性具有显著的保护作用。另一方面，亚硒酸盐几乎不会降低CDDP的抗肿瘤活性。
