Abstract
Blood culture isolates of Bacteroides caused depletion of alternative complement pathway hemolytic activity, but no fall in C4 titers, when incubated in vitro with normal serum or serum containing 0.002 M MgCl(2) and 0.008 M ethylene glycol-bis(beta-aminoethyl ether)-N,N-tetraacetic acid.

拟杆菌的血培养分离株在体外与正常血清或含有0.002M氯化镁和0.008M乙二醇双（β-氨基乙醚）-N，N-四乙酸的血清一起孵育时，会导致替代补体途径溶血活性的消耗，但C4滴度没有下降。
