The experience with 220 consecutive cases of malignant tumours of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses seen over a period of 20 years by 1 person is presented. Squamous cell carcinoma (64 cases) constituted the commonest tumour though a wide range of pathologies was encountered. Combined treatment with surgery and radiotherapy produced the best results. 3- and 5-year survival was 44 and 30%, respectively. Local control of disease is very important in improving survival, and long-term follow-up is essential.
本文介绍了一人在20年期间连续诊治的220例鼻腔和鼻窦恶性肿瘤的经验。鳞状细胞癌（64例）是最常见的肿瘤，不过也遇到了多种病理类型。手术和放疗联合治疗取得了最佳效果。3年和5年生存率分别为44%和30%。疾病的局部控制对提高生存率非常重要，长期随访必不可少。
