Only little is known about the involvement of the epithelium of epidermoid cysts in dermatoses with keratinocytic changes because these cysts are excised only rarely. Histological findings on an epidermoid cyst, excised from a patient with wide-spread lichen planus are reported. These changes exactly agree with the epidermal histological features of lichen planus and cannot be interpreted as a foreign body reaction.
由于表皮样囊肿仅很少被切除，因此对于表皮样囊肿的上皮在伴有角质形成细胞改变的皮肤病中的参与情况了解甚少。本文报告了从一名广泛分布扁平苔藓患者身上切除的表皮样囊肿的组织学发现。这些改变与扁平苔藓的表皮组织学特征完全相符，不能解释为异物反应。
