The effectiveness of oral Cordichin, a quinidine-verapamil combination, was evaluated in 11 patients with recurrent supraventricular tachycardias. The mechanism of the tachycardias was either AV nodal re-entry or atrial ectopic as documented by electrophysiologic studies. An arrhythmia suppression or a significant decrease of tachycardia attacks was seen in 8 of 11 patients. In 3 patients there was only a mild effect on the recurrence of tachycardias. Cordichin seems to be a valuable alternative drug in the treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias.
对11例复发性室上性心动过速患者评估了口服科地嗪（一种奎尼丁 - 维拉帕米组合药物）的疗效。通过电生理研究证实，心动过速的机制为房室结折返或房性异位。11例患者中有8例出现心律失常抑制或心动过速发作显著减少。3例患者对心动过速复发仅有轻微影响。科地嗪似乎是治疗阵发性室上性心动过速的一种有价值的替代药物。
