Abstract

Di-methyltin-dichloride (DMTC), di-butyltin-dichloride (DBTC), di-octyltin-dichloride (DOTC) and two commercial products (CP 1, CP 2) used as stabilizers in plastics induce a dose-related decrease of the thymus weight in young rats when given by gastric intubation for 10 or 14 days; in the chicken a decrease of the bursa Fabricii weight can also be observed. It is of interest, that there are distinct differences in response between the animal species. The sensitivity in acute toxicity tests does not correspond with the sensitivity of thymus and bursa Fabricii. The response is also dependent on the vehicle in which the agent is given.

二甲基二氯化锡(DMTC)、二丁基二氯化锡(DBTC)、二辛基二氯化锡(DOTC)以及两种用作塑料稳定剂的商业产品(CP 1、CP 2),经胃管给药10天或14天后,会导致幼鼠胸腺重量呈剂量相关下降;在鸡身上也可观察到法氏囊重量下降。有趣的是,不同动物物种之间的反应存在明显差异。急性毒性试验中的敏感性与胸腺和法氏囊的敏感性不相符。反应还取决于给药时所用的载体。
