Pirenzepine is a new antimuscarinic drug with a peculiar affinity for gastric parietal cells' acetylcholine receptors. Previously it has been shown that the drug effectively inhibits both basal and gastric acid secretion stimulated by several secretagogues. The aim of the present work has been to evaluate, in double-blind, placebo controlled, randomized studies on 6 male patients, the effect of pirenzepine (50 mgs orally) on gastric secretion stimulated by peptone meal, gastric emptying and gastrin release. The results show a significant decrease of gastric secretion (48 per cent in the 1st and 30 per cent in the 2nd hour) without any effect on gastric emptying and gastrin release.
哌仑西平是一种新型抗胆碱能药物，对胃壁细胞的乙酰胆碱受体具有特殊亲和力。此前已表明，该药物能有效抑制基础胃酸分泌以及多种促分泌剂刺激引起的胃酸分泌。本研究的目的是，在对6名男性患者进行的双盲、安慰剂对照、随机研究中，评估哌仑西平（口服50毫克）对蛋白胨餐刺激的胃酸分泌、胃排空和胃泌素释放的影响。结果显示胃酸分泌显著减少（第1小时减少48%，第2小时减少30%），而对胃排空和胃泌素释放没有任何影响。
