On the example of diabetes mellitus there was shown a close interrelationship between the blood lymphocytes and monocytes function, on the one hand, and the disturbances of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism--on the other hand. Patients were examined both during the decompensated stage of diabetes and during the compensated one as a result of treatment. A reduction of lipid and 11-oxycorticosteroid level, a rise in T-lymphocyte percentage, an increase of the lymphocyte blasttransformation reaction, and of lysosomal and phagocytic activity of monocytes followed the treatment.
以糖尿病为例,一方面显示出血液淋巴细胞和单核细胞功能之间存在密切的相互关系,另一方面也显示出碳水化合物和脂质代谢紊乱之间的关系。对患者在糖尿病失代偿期以及治疗后代偿期均进行了检查。治疗后,脂质和11-氧皮质类固醇水平降低,T淋巴细胞百分比升高,淋巴细胞母细胞转化反应增强,单核细胞的溶酶体和吞噬活性增加。
