The fall in serum albumin which occurs after operation can be modified by an intraoperative infusion of 20 g salt-poor human albumin, and the associated fall in colloid osmotic pressure is also corrected. There is a decrease in postoperative oliguria following a colloid infusion but no significant effect has been demonstrated on urinary sodium excretion. Th alteration of fluid and electrolyte metabolism after surgery does not appear to be a direct effect of lowered plasma colloid osmotic pressure. It is suggested that the effect of intraoperative albumin infusion is predominantly haemodynamic.
术后发生的血清白蛋白下降可通过术中输注20g无盐人白蛋白得到改善，同时胶体渗透压的相关下降也得到纠正。胶体输注后术后少尿有所减少，但对尿钠排泄未显示出显著影响。手术后液体和电解质代谢的改变似乎并非血浆胶体渗透压降低的直接作用。提示术中输注白蛋白的作用主要是血流动力学方面的。
