Three methods exist for economizing blood during surgical operations: deferred autotransfusion and intentional hemodilution provide blood of excellent quality without any marked risk to the patient. Autotransfusion during operation is a less burdensome method which recuperates blood lost during surgery. The quality of the blood depends upon the type of operation (excellent in elective vascular surgery). Techniques and qualitative and quantitative results are described for each method.
延迟自体输血和 intentional hemodilution(此处可能有误,推测为“急性等容血液稀释”)可提供优质血液,且对患者无明显风险。术中自体输血是一种负担较小的方法,可回收手术中流失的血液。血液质量取决于手术类型(在择期血管手术中质量优良)。文中描述了每种方法的技术以及定性和定量结果。
