A conjugated phenobarbital-protein antigen has been synthetized. Immunization of rabbits with this antigen led to the appearance of antibodies specifically reacting with phenobarbital and some other barbiturates in the serum of their blood. Introduction of free phenobarbital to such animals does not produce any somniferous effect.
已合成一种结合型苯巴比妥-蛋白质抗原。用这种抗原免疫兔子后，其血清中出现了能与苯巴比妥及其他一些巴比妥类药物发生特异性反应的抗体。给这些动物注射游离苯巴比妥不会产生任何催眠作用。
