Abstract
Most health visitors working in Britain today will have a number of children in their workload who are asthmatic. Parents and sufferers are often anxious to obtain more information to help their understanding and management of the condition. Doreen Deaves describes the results of a study which indicate that health visitors are ideally placed to provide health education and support for parents and families of children with asthma.
