Newborn mice were infected intracerebrally with a fresh isolate of mumps virus. Although infectious virus could not be recovered after the acute infection, direct immunofluorescence demonstrated the persistence of mumps antigens for up to 100 days after the initial infection.
新生小鼠经脑内接种腮腺炎病毒新鲜分离株。虽然急性感染后无法再分离到有传染性的病毒,但直接免疫荧光显示,初次感染后腮腺炎抗原可持续存在长达100天。
