The investigation on the situation of movement and body therapy in psychiatric institutions for children and adolescents indicates the position of movement and body therapy in the context of the in-patient institutions. The analysis of a questionnaire carried out in Germany gives a first overview on structural conditions and the concepts of movement and body therapy. In addition to the inventory the author formulates differential questions on the significance of movement and body therapy in child and adolescent psychiatry.
