Abstract
A significant relationship was found between failure to attend initial appointments and the length of time between referral and appointment dates following the introduction of a waiting list in a child and family clinic. Families responding negatively to the questionnaire were found to be less likely to attend than those who responded neutrally or did not respond at all.
